Folks are often wise enough to know it makes a lot of sense to follow in others footsteps. They know that buying a proven system is the fastest and safest path to wealth. They have already spent the time and money to make the mistakes and you are merely stepping over all that to get right to the money. Its what I call the story of the paved road. First the road starts out as a path but if you try to drive over it you will find it to be very bumpy which slows you down not to mention that your teeth get a workout too.
But then someone smoothes it out by paving it. This allows you to flow freely and quickly down that road without the hazards the original pioneer faced. Wouldn't you rather travel a paved road than an unpaved path?
A brilliant way to go I might add for those about to embark on a new business venture!
Now back to my original thought about some businesses being more profitable than others. My name is Louis Brown. Most folks call me Lou. I started investing in Real Estate when I was 19 years old. That was over thirty years ago. I consider it a blessing from God that I was fortunate enough to discover the power and profitability of real estate at such a young age. But the path to riches for me was not an easy one. Why? Because I was traveling across a very bumpy unpaved path. One that really was tough.
I didn't know so much of what I really needed to know to be a success. But I hung in there and persevered. I tried, took my licks, tried again, took my licks and was fortunate enough to have it work out.
But the truth is I could have been a Millionaire so much sooner if I had the structure and guidance of a carefully thought through step by step plan.
I know I needed a plan for my own business so I started with every time I lost money or almost did I took note of that. I wrote it down to be sure that would not happen again. Over time I started to develop my own paperwork because I realized I simply couldn't remember all those lessons and I needed someplace to capture it all. I needed some way to be sure I got all the profits and all the protection I needed.
The answer was simple. Create forms that did the job for me. But not just any old forms. Heck any attorney can belch out forms. I needed more. They had to capture not just the legal side of the business, they had to capture the Street Smart side too. I needed forms that could essentially do the negotiating for me, deliver all the profits possible and protect me all along the way.
That's exactly what I did. Then I needed a way to duplicate my system totally so others could do it for me. They could go out do as I taught them and bring me back the profits for the business. You see, one of the things we had on our list was to travel the world. We wanted to see and experience other cultures, beauty elsewhere and other types of people, food, merchandise and ways of life. I realized though that the money machine I had built would come to a screeching halt if I didn't build it to run while I was not there. I needed to put all the systems in place...just like a franchise. I worked years on developing all the steps in a format that would be easy for my staff to simply follow what I already knew would take them down the paved road to the money. When that became proven then I started over twenty years ago teaching others how to do it the Street Smart way.
